Abstract: ASTM D6691 could enhance competitiveness, reduce trade barriers, and ensure compliance with management regulations regarding plastic waste in each country. The natural seawater was collected from four provinces along the Gulf of Thailand coast three times a year to monitor the environment and qualities for biodegradation test method development in accordance with ASTM D6691, including the verification of test method validity. The data were analyzed using the Duncan Multiple Range Test. The parameters include ambient temperature, sea surface temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen were significantly differences (p < 0.05). The test method validity was assessed by utilizing reference materials and inoculating with the collected natural seawater. The criteria were to achieve a biodegradation percentage not less than 70% within 10 to 90 days and align with the requirements of ASTM D6691. It could be considered that the natural seawater from these areas were suitable to be applied as an inoculum for biodegradation test although some parameters may be changed depending on time period. The test method could identify the biodegradable properties of materials in the seawater, providing an alternative solution to solve the plastic waste problem.

Abstract: Berries are not only delicious but also incredibly healthy. They come in different colors, sizes and flavors – some are sweet, while others are a little tart. The great thing about berries is that they are low in calories and full of good things like antioxidants, fiber and vitamin C. These qualities make berries really good for your health and can help reduce the risk of disease and keep your cells in good shape. Some popular types of berries include blueberries, mulberries, raspberries, goji berries, strawberries, chokeberries, acai berries and cranberries. White mulberry from the berry family has a rich potential for lowering CRP levels in the blood. White mulberry (Morus alba) is an under-researched fruit, but has an important role. White mulberries are rich in anthocyanins and alkaloids and have pharmacological properties such as antioxidant, anti-diabetic, anti-atherosclerotic, anti-obesity and hepatoprotective activities. Various parts of the mulberry tree, including the leaves, roots and fruits, have been traditionally and currently used in agriculture, food, cosmetics and medicine. Due to their numerous promising effects on health, they are considered multifunctional plants with medicinal properties. In this article, we will examine the effects of white mulberry on CRP.

Abstract: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, or PCOS, is a hormonal disorder that occurs in women at a young age and is characterized by ovulation disorders, increased androgen levels in the blood and irregularities such as missed periods or menstruation with long intervals. While it is expected that there is not much difference between LH and FSH in the blood measured on the 3rd day of menstruation, LH levels are higher than FSH levels in women with PCOS. Many women with PCOS also suffer from infertility, obesity and polycystic ovaries, hirsutism and acne. Treatment methods that started with the use of various plants continue to be important today. In addition to the use of medical drugs, herbal treatment methods can also provide solutions against diseases. Looking at the chemical and biological activities of onion and as a result of clinical studies, it has been revealed that it is curative for the treatment of PCOS.
