Model-assisted Variance Estimator for the GREG Estimator
Praful A. Patel
Department of Statistics, Sardar Patel University Vallabh Vidhyanagar-388120, Gujarat, India.
Abstract: This paper describes a model-based estimation procedure for the variance of the generalized regression (GREG) estimator for the finite population totals. Two model-based estimators for the design variance of the GREG estimator are proposed. A simulation study is conducted to study the bias and efficiency of both estimators.

Like the tori and orbifolds, we show that there exists here also a possibility to see clearly the compactifications of matrix models of M-theory on non commutative geometry.

αe*-Closed Set

Department of Mathematics, Victoria Institution (College), 78 B, A.P.C. Road, Kolkata – 700009, India.
Abstract: This paper deals with a new type of crisp set viz., αe*-closed set which inherits α–e*-almost compactness of a space X where the underlying structure on X is a fuzzy topology. Also a new type of continuous-like function between two fuzzy topological spaces is introduced under which α–e*-almost compactness for crisp subsets remains invariant.
